The dragon was chosen as a symbol of Wales in the time of Henry VII (15th century). This was done in tribute to the Welsh people who had made his victory possible, as he fought the Tudor claim to be the true Rulers of Britain.
This intricately decorated red velvet hanging ornament, features gold thread work, brightly shining beads & glittering sequins. Each ornament hangs by a plaited gold cord.
